source url Integration platform as a Service (iPaaS) falls under Software as a Service(SaaS), But why I am calling cloud based integration tools like Oracle ICS, Dell Boomi etc…. as iPaaS ? hmmmm , Let me explain.

  What integration does?

Every company is unique in their implementation and of course if you say enterprise  it is not just one tool/product/technology, So no single tool/product will suite company’s requirement (For example for handling employee information we will use HRMS ,for Customer relation CRM , for inventory ERP  etc….) so at the end all these tools should work together (I mean they need to exchange the data b/w systems).

There are many integration tools in the market like Oracle SOA , Tibco , Webmethos, Mule etc…..

Hope you are clear what is integration 🙂

purchase finasteride online Now discuss about iPaaS:

when I install my integration suite in cloud or when i purchase an integration suite which is already in cloud then that integration is called iPaaS.

Why Should not I called it as iSaaS (Integration Software as a Service) ? Well that what our main question

iPaaS connects all on-premise and cloud based prodcuts, see means iPaaS is a single platform to integrate all products. Hope it makes some sense 🙂

Some integration tools in market are Dell Boomi , Oracle ICS , Oracle SOA etc…
